There’s a pretty great sale happening on the PlayStation store right now that makes a lot of classic PS1 titles irresistably cheap. Titles like Command & Conquer: Red Alert and Tekken 2. Ooh, and Silent Hill. And is that Resident Evil 1,2 and 3 bundled for £6.49? Why yes it is.

GTA San Andreas PS3

Sony’s rumoured deal with games streaming service Gaikai will reportedly allow PS3 gamers to stream legacy games from the PS1 and PS2 archives, cutting out all that HD remake palaver. Expected to get a full announcement at E3 2012, the service will give Sony a chance to test the waters of streaming – handy, at this point in the PS3′s life cycle when PS4/PS Orbis rumours are ever-growing.
