Zavvi have gone live with an order page that lets you pre order the game right now for £34.95 although their Bioshock PS Vita release date would see it out ahead of Bioshock Infinite.
This new Metal Gear Solid HD PS Vita video shows of a large chunk of gameplay from MGS, running over nine minutes. New touchscreen controls are on display – like using the back touchpad to choke out a guard – and the whole thing looks amazing on that screen.

Don’t get too excited. The PS Vita update 1.67 is only a very a minor fix that “improves stability for some PlayStation Vita titles”. It’s not even a mandatory one so you could just skip it.
The PS Vita system software update v1.65 recently went up, then came down again because of a ‘technical fault’ according to the EU blog.

He might be pushing PS3 to its limits with GDC’s incredible Kara demo, but Quantic Dream’s David Cage also has an interest in developing (presumably really French and ultra emotional) games for Vita. Speaking to the Papa of Interactive Drama at GDC a few weeks ago, Cage revealed his admiration for Sony’s new handheld and even had something to say about PlayStation 4.
