As February’s bitter reign draws to an end, not only do you get to walk outside without having your face sandblasted off by freezing wind, you get a brand new issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, too! So it was worth surviving the winter for another year, after all. Since the new issue’s in shops now, let’s take a peek inside it.
January is a sod of a month. Weather cold enough to make important appendages drop off, change purse-ruining sales and a whole 11-and-a-bit month wait for Xmas. To get you through these last few dark days until the dawn of February comes the new Official PlayStation Magazine UK, which is in shops now.
This month’s cover game is Naughty Dog’s hugely exciting The Last of Us. Can PS3′s best developer top Uncharted 3? You’ll have to read to find out. We’ve also got a brilliant interview with Batman: Arkham City‘s game director Sefton Hill, who lifts the lid on the making of a masterpiece. All that and a chuffing huge Mass Effect 3 feature. Buy it and keep the wolves from our collective doors for at least another 30 days.
So, had enough of Christmas yet? In case you need something to break up the mince pies and incendiary family arguments then a new Official PlayStation Magazine UK is in the shops now. With Max Payne 3 on the cover (and inside). We’ve also got the full top 40 reader voted Games Of The Year, an interview with Mr LA Noire Brendan McNamara, the big games of 2012 and plenty more. Don’t worry, only a couple more days and it’ll be 2012. New beginnings and all that.
In case you missed it, the new issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK is in the shops now. That’s the one with Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima on the cover. Putting a developer on the front of the magazine is a first for Official PlayStation. We had unrivalled access to Kojima and spoke to him about the Metal Gear series, including MGS 5. We also talked about Rising, his past games, his secret Project Ogre and loads more. Of course that wasn’t the only thing in the issue…

This is the Uncharted issue and as well as the review we’ve got exclusive behind the scenes access with Naughty Dog and the voice of Drake, Nolan North, for a huge making of feature.
