Here’s a new Wolfenstein: The New Order trailer. I don’t know what to make of it, really. Light-hearted one minute, dark and brooding the next… the only definite you can pin to this one is that if that ref were actually given work, there’d be no danger of falling asleep during Match of the Day.

Bethesda’s announced that the Doom beta – which is available only with upcoming shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order – will be available on next-gen platforms and PC only. Wolfenstein the new order ps4 screens

Within the opening couple of hours of Wolfenstein: The New Order we battle mechanical attack dogs, navigate through the legs of a giant robot and narrowly survive a scrape with a sadistic Nazi doctor who is the very embodiment of a dastardly comic-book villain. So good news then as it’s clear this shooter is primarily concerned with being big, eccentric and charmingly exaggerated and, thus, essentially honouring its heritage.
