  • Naughty Dog community strategist Arne Meyer says the studio is aiming to hit 60fps in Uncharted 4 in the wake Of The Last Of Us. Speaking to Eurogamer, he said: “I think that’s what we want to push for with anything we’re doing on this generation. That’s sort of the mandate from when we were building the PS4 engine. Let’s see if we can do this and hit it. We hit it with The Last of Us Remastered, so why not stick with this?”
  • Best clear some room on that PS4 HDD, because The Last Of Us: Remastered needs 50GB of free space according to a supposed shot of the game’s boxart. That’s not difficult to believe, seeing as it’s in roughly the same ballpark as Killzone: Shadow Fall’s install size.
  • Sledgehammer Games admits Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare is influenced by COD 4, especially that game’s legendary All Ghillied Up mission. “There are some majorly iconic COD levels. They’re impactful and memorable. And boy, we’re trying so hard to capture that lightning in a bottle,” said studio co-founder Michael Condrey in an interview with GamesMaster magazine. “We look at levels like All Ghillied Up. It was awesome because it was a fantastic level, but it was also really great because it had different atmosphere, right?” Here’s hoping Advanced Warfare can replicate the astounding tension of that Ukrainian flashback.
