The Order: 1886 delayed. The Evil Within delayed. Every damn thing delayed! Also, Battlefield 5 news – Daily PlayStation round up
Delays. So many delays. Following The 3… and The Elder Scrolls Online… and Dying Light… and The Division, both The Order: 1886 and The Evil Within have been pushed back. Curse you, Father Time! Ah well, at least we’ve got some Battlefield 5 PS4 murmurings for ya.
Daily PlayStation round up
- First up, The Evil Within’s release date has been pushed back by two months to October. Bethesda released the following statement to explain why the anticipated PS4 horror has been paddled with the delay stick… ”Shinji Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks have asked for additional time to further balance and refine the game in order to deliver the polished, terrifying pure survival horror experience they set out to create.”
- The Order: 1886 delayed? You better believe that’s a paddling. Ready At Dawn joins the fashionably late party with the announcement its anticipated Victorian-era London adventure has been pushed back until 2015. The studio wrote the following on the PlayStation Blog to explain the decision… “We have decided to spend some extra time to deliver on the promise we made when we first introduced the game. As such, you can expect The Order: 1886 to come exclusively to the PlayStation 4 in early 2015.”
- Finally, it looks like the new Battlefield has been leaked. A Battleblog update looks to have outed Visceral’s first entry in DICE’s destructive series, with the new title apparently called Battlefield Hardline. The rumored shooter is said to revolve around a cops and robbers theme. Colour us SWAT 4-levels of excited.
