PlayStation news round up
- Hungry for more Far Cry 4 news after the game’s reveal last week? You’re in luck, because someone on Ubisoft’s PC platform UPlay done goofed, accidentally leaking a few scant story details on the Himalayas-set shooter for a brief time. Details are as follows…“Hidden in the majestic Himalayas lies Kyrat, a country steeped in tradition and violence. You are Ajay Ghale. Traveling to Kyrat to fulfill your mother’s dying wish, you find yourself caught up in a civil war to overthrow the oppressive regime of dictator Pagan Min. Explore and navigate this vast open world, where danger and unpredictability lurk around every corner. Here, every decision counts, and every second is a story. Welcome to Kyrat.”
- Watch Dogs reviews are set to go live on 27 May, which just so happens to be the game’s release date. This was confirmed by the hack ‘em up’s official Twitter feed. We suggest holding fire on any purchasing decisions until those first round of scores start to flood in.
- Wolfenstein: The New Order reviews are in and they’re (mostly) dang positive. Our sister site CVG has published a particularly gushing verdict, awarding Blazko’s latest Nazi-nerphing shooter a big, fat 9/10. I’ve played it extensively, and can confirm it’s a slickly solid shooter that happily runs at 60fps on PS4, and packs in a surprisingly mature narrative punch. That, and robot Doberman.
