Over 100 indie games currently in development for PlayStation platforms, 1000+ developers now have self-publishing rights
And yes, Nidhogg PS4 is one of them. Sony announced an influx of indie titles to PlayStation platforms during a special showcase event at SCEA’s headquarters – over 100 in total. There are now over 1,000 developers able to self-publish their indie games, and Sony’s publisher and developer relations vice president Adam Boyes reveals that self-published titles have sold over 20 million copies, with an average of three per console.

There were a number of reveals at the SCEA event, including the following games heading to PS4:
- Jamestown Plus
- Starwhal: Just the Tip
- Ironclad Tactics
- Escape Goat 2
- Skulls of the Shogun: Bone-a-Fide Edition
- Spelunky PS4
