Everything you need to know about Project Morpheus – PS4 VR explained

What’s the screen size and resolution of Morpheus VR?

It’s still subject to changes and revisions, but the current prototype for PS4′s VR headset features a 5-inch LCD screen capable of 1920 x 1080 resolution. That allows a 90-degree horizontal field of view. That’s a per-eye resolution of 960 x 1080. For reference, its PC counterpart Oculus Rift (DK2 version) features the same resolution on an OLED screen and a purported 100-degree field of view, though as yet its unclear how Oculus is actually measuring FOV. Sony’s Anton Mikhailov told Eurogamer that if you were to measure diagonally, Morpheus’ FOV would be “over 100″.
