Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes retail price cut to £29.99 on PS4

MGS5 Ground Zeroes PS3 PS4 comparison

Konami has cut the price of Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes on PS4 from £39.99 to £29.99 for the boxed version. It’s still only 2 hours long though. The change is to “match the digital price for the consoles as well as the retail pricing for the physical editions”.

Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes price cut to £29.99 on PS4

So it’s now £29.99 for a boxed copy or a download on PS4, with PS3 remaining at £19.99. The move is almost certainly in response to the discovery that the MGS 5 Ground Zeroes’ main mission is only two hours long. While side missions, collectables and leaderboards are said to extend the experience it’s clear Konami are aware of gamers’ feelings towards what’s barely a DLC length release.
