Horror game Daylight plans to let livestream spectators to control the scares

Zombie Studios has dropped a bit of interesting info on its procedural horror game Daylight. It’s planning to allow spectators to control the action in the livestream they’re watching.

Horror game Daylight plans to let spectators to control scares

Daylight follows Sarah Gwynn as she explores haunted areas that are procedurally generated along with the scares to create a different experience each time. The idea of letting spectators control things would vary things up even more. The game’s due for release in April. Here’s the quote that explains it the spectator system:

“Streaming has been a huge boon to the PS4 community, and the devs want Daylight to have an involved relationship with livestreams. The hope is to allow viewers to control the actual scares in a streamer’s experience, providing a much more interactive dynamic between player and audience.”
