Battlefield 4 single player trailer: dog-punching, boat-tearing spectacle
A new Battlefield 4 single player trailer has arrived to impress us all with its large scale destructible environments, incredible next-gen post-processing effects and acts and so, so many set-pieces. Remember the dinosaur in the Battlefield 3 trailer that followed a 4Chan thread complaining that Modern Warfare 3 needs more dinosaurs? We reckon the attack mutt getting one in the chops sends a very clear message from DICE: Half Life 3 is confirmed.
For a game about shooting people, the lack of shooting people in the above vid is startling. Instead, there’s a sharp focus on cinematic set-pieces, because of course there is. That’s not to say it doesn’t look good: it looks like the facial capture and voice acting can support a genuinely strong story this time around.
