Sony has “nothing to announce” on the PS Vita 2000 outside of Japan

While Sony recently revealed a new cheaper PS Vita 2000 will be hitting Japan on October 10 it has apparently stated it has “nothing to announce” on a release outside of that territory.

The cheaper hand held costs ¥18980 yen (about £120) using an LCD screen to bring the prices down. Sony are reported to be “considering every opportunity” with regards to the Vita but, as yet, no plans. However the chances are it’ll be heading your way in a few months time.
