7 PS Vita lifelines from Gamescom – things that Sony is finally doing right with its handheld

A price drop

Nothing’s going to make the Vita more attractive than a price drop. Not only have they reduced the cost of the WiFi only version to around £170, €199 or $199 in the UK, Europe and North America respectively, but Sony has also promised “significant reductions” to the price of memory cards, which currently cost a bomb for Vita owners to purchase. Considering most retailers are already selling the Vita at prices lower than the new reduced figure already it’ll be interesting to see how low prices go in the coming months.
