You can’t switch the PS4 controller’s light bar off, Sony Worldwide boss Yoshida confirms
Responding to an incredibly specific fan query on Twitter, Sony’s worldwide studios president Shuhei Yoshida confirmed that the light bar on the PS4′s DualShock 4 controller can’t be switched off. There’s been no further assurance of what that means for the controller’s battery life yet, nor whether its reflection could be problematic against plasma TVs.
