Grand Slam Tennis 2 (PS3)

EA, 2012
As you’d expect from an EA Sports title, this was licensed up its pretty, revealed-behind-a-flash-of-skirt wazoo – the big four of Federer, Murray, Nadal and Djokovic joined the Williams sisters and classic players like Sampras, Berg and pre-Spitting-Image-facelift Becker on the 20-strong roster. All four grand slams were featured too, but it was the innovative analogue control system which really had fans applauding – left stick to move, right to hit shots. Only the lack of events in career mode – four majors, four minors – prevented it ascending to the same heights as its silverware-hoarding cast.
