Skyrim: Dawnguard PS3 tips – how to craft Dragonbone weapons

Skyrim: Dawnguard Dragonbone Weapons

The Dragonbone Weapons introduced in Skyrim’s Dawnguard expansion are some of the most powerful in the game, surpassing even the Daedric set. Here’s how to get them.

Crafting these tools of obliteration is no easy feat; in order to obtain them, your character’s Smithing stat needs be maxed out at 100 and you must have unlocked Skyrim’s Dragon Armour perk. Once these conditions have been met, you can begin fashioning your desired weapon type at a Blacksmith Forge.

Each Dragonbone Weapon requires a different combination of Dragon Bones, Ebony Ingots and Leather Strips for use as raw materials (with the exception of the Dragonbone Arrow, which requires a Dragon Bone and a block of Firewood), and can be upgraded at any one of the Grindstones located throughout Skyrim with the use of an additional Dragon Bone. Here’s what you’ll need for each kind of weapon:

Dragonbone Arrow
1 X Dragon Bone
1 X Firewood

Dragonbone Battleaxe
3 X Dragon Bone
2 X Ebony Ingot
2 X Leather Strips

Dragonbone Bow
2 X Dragon Bone

1 X Leather Strips

Dragonbone Greatsword
4 X Dragon Bone

3 X Leather Strips

1 X Leather Strips

Dragonbone Sword

Dragonbone War Axe
