The Witcher 3 – 7 things we’d like to see on PS4

A strong, focused story

The Witcher 2 was a triumph in interactive storytelling. Despite widely divergent narrative paths, it told a well-crafted and well-paced tale. Whilst the announcement that The Witcher 3 will feature a vast open world is a welcome one, there’s no denying that open worlds in RPGs can sometimes lead to a dilution of their plot’s overall impact, as players often get side-tracked from saving the world to go collect 50 wheels of cheese instead. With a main storyline purportedly lasting 50 hours coupled with an additional 50 hours of optional side stories, keeping things tightly plotted will be no small feat for developers CD Projekt RED.
