Crysis 4′s blank page & rebooting Golden Axe: an interview with Cryteck’s Cevat Yerli & Rasmus Hojengaard

Here’s Crytek CEO and founder Cevat Yerli and director of creative development Rasmus Hojengaard to talk about Crysis 3 and the potentially non-FPS future of the franchise. The also talk about the idea of rebooting Golden Axe 2. Or maybe Double Dragon, they haven’t decided.

Cryteck interview

When asked about Crysis 3 Cevat Yerli admits that the New York setting didn’t sit entirely well with fans and argues the new urban rainforest will combine the best bits of both the first and second game. He also unsurprisingly confirms there will be a Crysis 4 but it’s a completely blank page. Not even the genre or game camera is fixed yet. There’s also some talk about the future of Homefront 2 and both Cevat Yerli and Rasmus Hojengaard discuss the potential for a Cryteck old school reboot of either Golden Axe or Double Dragon.
