An alien campaign
The big problem with XCOM’S multiplayer – aside from the low number of playable maps at the moment – is the fact that you really miss those alien character classes when you switch back to the main campaign. There’s just something brilliantly creative and empowering about the way the alien troops interact in combat, whether it’s using hidden Sectoids to buff your snipers, or sending Floaters and Drones out as overhead recon and expendable decoys. So let’s use them more in XCOM: Enemy Unknown 2. Let’s have a full alien campaign, either following Earth’s invasion from the other side or detailing the defence of the alien homeworld from a return strike. The Sectopod might be an overpowered beast of a thing, but ye gods is it fun to use.
