Sony says PS3 has 3 years of “great content” coming including new first-party games

In a recent interview Sony’s VP of hardware marketing John Koller has spoken about the lifespan of the PS3 saying, “A lot of great content is coming. Over the next 2-3 years the PS3 has got an incredible lineup.”

New PS3 games!

Which is good news considering they’ve just released the new PS3 Super Slim, and part of the reason Koller addressed the issue, saying, “That consumer coming in this fall is going to really have an opportunity to have great content, and what we believe to be the best content in the industry.”

While he name checks games like The Last Of Us and Beyond: Two Souls he also mentions, “A lot of first-party content that hasn’t come out publicly” and states,”We’re going to continue supporting the PS3 for the next few years and we’re going to continue supporting it not only that long, but as long as there is a development spigot that’s running hot. And I can tell you right now, the development spigot for PS3 is very hot. A lot of great games coming.”

A spigot’s a tap in-case you were wondering.
