Sleeping Dogs 2: our sequel wishlist

Update: Our scribes brawl over the prospect of Sleeping Dogs 2 and whether Shen merits a sequel.

More moral repercussions

Wei Shen’s work in Hong Kong is done, for now. But there’s plenty of potential in his character. In Dogs 1, you’re basically forced to rise up the Sun On Yee gang and do bad as well as good. 2 could be a lot more like inFamous, with you making specific decisions about whether or not to keep rising up the ranks of police, or to put all Shen’s skills – mental and physical – into a life of crime. It’d require two very different story arcs and endings – but after such a solid first outing, United Front can be trusted to deliver.
