Counter-Strike Global Offensive misses another PSN update

Worrying news for terrorists and counter-terrorists alike – for the third consecutive week, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a no-show in the PSN update.

Counter-Strike Global Offensive goes AWOL

The modernisation of Valve’s classic team multiplayer shooter was due for release on August 21st, and did actually release on other platforms on time – but PS3 users are still waiting. The confirmation comes from the EU Blog‘s ‘heads up’ store update post, which states: “unfortunately we currently have no new information to pass on.”

Elsewhere it’s resounding positvity for this week’s store update though – PS Plus subscribers get Red Dead Redemption, one of the best things ever to have happened ever, as their game of the month.

What’s more, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons Of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, both in HD, are now hiding under boxes and smoking cigarettes in the store right now. But seriously, where’s Counter-Strike? We’ll keep you posted as soon as we hear anything.
