Motor Toon Grand Prix 2

Before Gran Turismo, way back when studio Polyphony Digital was known as Polys Entertainment, there was Motor Toon Grand Prix. Released in 1996, this colourful cartoony racer may not have boasted the fiddly tech-impressive sim realism of Polyphony’s most famous series, but it gave the studio a taste of the racing genre and undoubtedly paved the way for their future greatness. There’s even a primitive version of Gran Turismo’s own Trial Mountain in the track roster.
