Metal Gear Solid 5 release date could be “next year, summer at the earliest” says mo-cap actor
An actor working on “a future metal gear” has outed a potential Metal Gear Solid 5 release date saying the game’s “not to be released until next year, summer at the earliest”.
Metal Gear Solid 5 release date
Eric Bossick, the actor who mo-capped Henry for Silent Hill 4, is back with Konami working on “a future Metal Gear, not to be released until next year summer at the earliest, if not later than that”. While he doesn’t confirm much more, he does go on to say, “I can tell you I am not doing Snake, but an ally of his,” adding, “I can 100% say my voice will not be involved”.
Bossick does admit, “I dont even know what the title is” but Metal Gear Solid 5 seems like the most likely option, the only other being an otherwise unannounced MGS game. He says, “They are all very secretive and sometimes, even the scenes I act out, I dont even know the full story, because they want to keep it secret. I suppose it is fine to mention I am working on it, everybody knows Kojima is making something now”.
Kojima is indeed working on something, having posted pictures of guns and talking about actors undergoing military training. Kojima’s also been tweeting mo-cap pictures on and off for a while now. These have featured actors hanging upside down apparently acting out car crashes and trays of medical instruments.
Thanks Silent Haven.
