Why Uncharted 4 needs PS4

Better facial and motion capture

The technological leap made by Uncharted 2 in this area was massive; the game was so far ahead of the competition that you could barely even call it competition. Three years on and the rest of the industry has caught on – facial capture, motion capture and film-standard voice acting is fashionable like strawberry chinos. If Naughty Dog wants to flex its narrative muscle and elevate its in-game storytelling to the next level, then we’re going to need a bigger console. PS4 could allow motion and facial capture so good it would be like watching Emily Rose in the flesh. Yes please.
