GTA 5 viral marketing starts as RockStar updates old San Andreas site
An old viral website for GTA: San Andreas has recently been updated, adding a Twitter feed, suggesting that viral marketing for GTA 5 is about to begin.
The Epsilon program site’s been around since the days of GTA: San Andreas, promising Scientology-like empowerment for cash. It’s been dormant for years but now sports a twitter feed, @EpsilonisnToday, and checking web caches shows it wasn’t there on the 24 of July.
GTA 5′s viral message
There’s only a couple of tweets so far, “Seeking without paying is not living, it is living on the cheap. #KIFFLOM” and “We as a people have consistently got things backwards. #KIFFLOM”. None of the other old San Andreas sites seem to have been updated, although www.westcoastraplegends.com redirects to Rockstar’s main site and www.burgershot.com has lapsed (yours for only $2,195.00).
