7 overlooked PlayStation games that deserve HD revamps

TimeSplitters 2 (PS2)

The first of our lucky 7 is a cult classic FPS bursting with personality. Despite not being the most recent game in the series, TimeSplitters 2 has become a fan favourite because of its fast pacing, tight controls, off-the-wall humour and chaotic on-the-couch multiplayer. The game uses its time travel premise to take players on a rip-roaring tour of ten diverse Hollywood-inspired levels and features more pop culture references and multiplayer modes than you can shake a brick (which, incidentally, is one of the game’s weapons) at. Perhaps an enhanced re-release of Free Radical’s (now Crytek UK) magnum opus could be used to gauge demand for a fourth entry in the franchise, something that fans persistently request.
