New locations mean new ideas

Visceral Games’ senior producer David Woldman says, “We had to think of new ways to limit visibility, to play with audio, to think about what could be under the ground”. With new outdoor settings and more varied location than ‘spaceship corridor’ the development team need a new way to make things scary. “Some of our setting changes have really forced us to innovate…” explains Woldmen. “Visibility levels, layers of snow, sounds you can hear when you can’t see anything. Believe me, the stuff you haven’t seen is going to be eye-opening as well.”
