FIFA 13 ‘Ultimate Edition’ pre-order deals announced

EA has announced its “most extensive global pre-order incentive in the history of the FIFA franchise” in the form of FIFA 13 Ultimate Edition: 24 gold packs over 24 weeks, and either 10,000 EA Sports Football Club credits or the Adidas All-Star team comprising the best players in the game, with a fancy bespoke kit.

Those who pre-order FIFA 13 Ultimate Edition from Amazon will get the credits, to “redeem against in-game items such as special celebrations, Virtual Pro attribute boosts, extra matches in Head-to-Head Seasons mode, and more from the new EA SPORTS Football Club Catalogue to kick-start the season.”

And those who reserve the Ultimate Edition from GAME get the All-Star squad, featuring all the big names “such as Lionel Messi, Nani, Karim Benzema and many others. The exclusive squad will feature special adidas kits that can be used in Online Pro Clubs.”

Regardless of where you pre-order from though, you’ll recieve 24 gold packs over 24 weeks with the Ultimate Edition. Not familiar with gold packs? They’re like football stickers, only you get to use the players, kits, and balls in-game. They’re addictive like heroin-hobnobs.

FIFA 13′s promising a control overhaul as big as last year’s defending controls, and is due for release in September
