The Last Guardian development “business as usual” says Fumito Ueda

The Last Guardian PS3

Things might not be as bleak as we thought for The Last Guardian after an E3 no show and major staff departures. Creator Fumito Ueda has been asked about the game’s development and said “It’s business as usual.”

According the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus creator the chatter about him leaving Sony to go freelance has been overplayed. “The only things that’ve really changed are the terms of my contract” he said.

It’s another positive sign after Sony’s software development head Scott Rohde stated that The Last Guardian “will ship”.
