Sony have revealed a first look at a new PSN curio with a new Unfinished Swan trailer. Described as a “first-person painting game” it sees you exploring a completely white space by firing out blobs of paint to uncover the world around you.
According to Ian Dallas, the creative director of developer Giant Sparrow you play a small boy called Monroe who’s “chasing after a swan” who “stepped out of painting”.
Apparently Giant Sparrow are creating the game under a similar arrangement to Thatgamecompay. Something Dallas describes as an “incubation deal.” According to Dallas that means Sony have provided money, office space, equipment and advice as well as one of God Of War’s graphic’s programmers.
Dallas also says that, “the painting a white world stuff is actually just the
first 15 minutes. After that, things get really weird.”
