PlayStation game endings we’d love to change
So the bleating masses have stropped their way to victory and convinced BioWare to cook up DLC that will ‘clarify’ Mass Effect 3′s ending. Yes it’s utterly bonkers, but it got us thinking – if we threw a big enough tantrum could we retrospectively change other PlayStation game endings? Here’s a rundown of five videogame conclusions that didn’t properly massage our satisfaction gland, and why we’d want them changed. Naturally there are massive spoiler bombs ahead, so read on with caution.
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood
We got over the disappointment of this not being Assassin’s Creed III mainly because Brotherhood is actually excellent, but that ending – eugh. Not only is Ezio forced to plod through his final mission with hands welded to the enjoyment-sucking Apple of Eden, Desmond then goes and kills Lucy. I mean for crying out loud. After sitting through all the stomach-churning flirty bits, I was hoping I’d at least get to see them snog.
