Official PlayStation Magazine UK: new issue on sale now

Front

It’s that time of the month again where a new issue of Official PlayStation Magazine UK appears in the shops, and this issue is all about Assassin’s Creed 3. We’ve got a huge feature on the game where we visit Ubisoft Montreal and interview the devs about the big changes underway for the series. We also have a massive guide to the game’s history and past legacy. If you don’t know your animus from your arm knife then this will help get you up to speed.

Elsewhere in the mag we’ve got a look back at the PS Vita launch with photo’s from the midnight opening and interviews with the first people to bag a console. As well as that we’ve also got an interview with the new VP and MD of Sony UK, Fergal Gara. He speaks to us about the PS Vita’s launch and the future of all things PlayStation. The man’s in charge of everything in the UK so he knows stuff. Secret stuff he only hints at, like E3 for example…

There’s plenty of games to read about as well with the new new preview and reviews that include Medal Of Honor: Warfighter, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Far Cry 3, The Last Of Us, Dirt Showdown, Mass Effect 3, SSX and a look at the new (ish) Sleeping Dogs which you might remember as True Crime: Hong Kong. We actually sent a man to Hong Kong to see the game in action and chat to United Front, the Dev’s behind it. Faces were kicked. People were shot.

And because you can’t play games all the time (we’ve tried) we’ve got a run down of all the video and TV services you can currently enjoy on your PS3. From iPlayer to Netflix and more – what’s best, what works and what’s best avoided. We’ve tried, tested and rated them all.
