GT5 gamers place third in class at Dubai 24H

GT Academy podium

If you read our post last week about the team of Gran Turismo Academy drivers taking part in the Dubai 24H race, maybe you’re curious about how they got on? Well, let me tell you – the lads brought home a third-in-class podium for Team GT Academy, and a hella lot of pride for PS3 racing gamers everywhere. Nice work you lucky, lucky lads.

Having qualified in fourth place, the four-man team raced like true professionals to bring home a podium. British racer and former GT5 gamer Jann Mardenborough had this to say of his team’s victory:

“That was without doubt the weekend of my life, the only thing that compares to it is winning GT Academy last June. It feels like pure joy. This is just the first step for me and now I hope that my performance in Dubai can take me further.”
