Gloombound Mine

If you want to craft powerful Daedric armour, you’re going to need a lot of ebony. The richest source of this precious mineral is Gloombound Mine, east of Windhelm. To access it you’ll have to befriend the Orcs guarding it. Approach Narzulbur, their stronghold, and you’ll be refused entry until you do the chief a favour. When you get inside, there are over twenty veins bursting with ebony ore, and a handy smelter outside to turn your haul into ingots.
