Skyrim PS3 patch coming December will address “improved performance for long-term play”
[Update] The patch has just gone live with early word apparently confirmed it fixes lag issues. We’ll let you know how it plays out after a thorough test.
Man it must suck to be Pete Hines right now. The VP of marketing and PR at Bethesda has been fencing off a ton of angry PS3 fans over the last few days about Skyrim’s save file issue on PS3. And we all know how nicely people play when it comes to internet comments. Anyway, there is a patch on the way according to Hines and it will fix that key frame rate problem.
Hines’ first tweet about the patch says it’ll be here the week after Thanksgiving. That’s the 4th Thursday in November if you’re not American which dates the update to around the first week in December. More importantly, in one tweet Hines says “On the list for this update is improved performance for long-term play on PS3″. “Improved” you say? Not completely fixed?
