Want to know how much PlayStationVita games will set you back? Well you can get some idea from Sony’s official prices of launch title Uncharted: Golden Abyss, announced today in Japan. That’s right. Prices – multiple.

To buy a boxed copy, Japanese gamers will pay ¥5980, which works out just shy of £50. Digital copies of Uncharted: Golden Abyss will be cheaper though, priced at ¥4900 or £40 on PSN.

That sounds expensive, but these are just the RRP – actual shelf prices are likely to be lower. Well, they’d better be. Encouragingly, Japanese mag Dengkei PlayStation listed prices for another PS Vita launch title Hot Shots Golf 6 (otherwise known as Everybody’s Golf) as ¥4980 for the boxed copy and ¥3980 to download – £41.50 and £33 respectively. That’s starting to sound more affordable, depending on how much retailers duck under the RRP.
