Bankrupt LA Noire developer Team Bondi owe AUD $1.4 million

LA Noir

Success is expensive it seems. Despite Team Bondi delivering one of the biggest games of the year in the shape of LA Noir, the seven year production and high staff turnover have left the company bankrupt and owing a ton of cash to just about everyone involved.

Even the company’s own employees have felt the bite with studio head Brendan McNamara owed more than $102,000 along with numerous development staff all left out of pocket. A sad end to an otherwise great game’s story. You can read more about the whole sorry mess over at Gamesindustry.biz.
